Overall, this is a place with many good people and moments of genuine teamwork. As an IP paralegal, I gained exposure to a wide range of IP support tasks, which was valuable for building experience and understanding how a busy practice operates. The fast-paced environment can be engaging, and there are colleagues who are supportive and willing to help, particularly within immediate teams.
Cons
That said, the firm can be quite high-pressure at times, and the pay feels fairly average given the level of responsibility involved. Many of the perks and recognition initiatives appear to be more focused on fee earners, which can sometimes leave support staff feeling less visible or appreciated. There is also a noticeable distinction between fee earners and support staff, which can contribute to a sense of hierarchy in day-to-day interactions.
