Pros

The company has a decent benefits package relative to others in the area. It's also 100% employee owned which means that full time employees can count on a decent retirement through company stock. It's also fairly understanding of family commitments and seems to be genuinely interested in the well being of it's employees.

Cons

Being nearly a century old the company has a lot of things it likes to do "its way." This can lead to a slow feeling when it comes to change and that can be frustrating for those with more ambition or ideas. In my personal experience it can feel very much like the company is "stuck in the past" with it's culture and is probably in need of some good leadership to keep it moving forward.

Pros

You'll get decent experience for as long as you survive here. It's better than nothing but only slightly.

Cons

Pay is minimal, greedy out of touch leadership, there is absolutely no excuse for how this company treats people. No matter how much you improve or your team's output, pay is not changing. They keep you on temp survive payroll to avoid benefits. You've been warned. Run far, far away.

Pros

Benefits and the fellow employees are great. Ability to work from home. Inner management is on your side.

Cons

Corporate overreach. Not understanding what the job entails on a day to day basis yet trying to standardize everything. Doesn't work. Disconnect between sales and design team is tremendous. Not much room for advancement or little to know raises to keep up with ever rising inflation.
