Pros
I have worked at this company for almost a decade; starting as entry level, now as management. I have seen a lot of people come and go, as well as have had numerous opportunities for growth. I have been offered opportunity after opportunity, but I had to show incentive and ability, as well as reliability, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. A lot of these reviews sound like people who just wanted the world handed to them, and don't realize you have to work for achievements. Of course contracts apply to you if you sign them. Of course people in management roles will make more than people in entry level roles. You are getting paid more than minimum wage for an entry level role with no experience required, yet the pay is 'low'? -MOAs make starting $18-19/hr with no experience and all on-the-job (paid) training. -Sleep techs make $18/hr training (paid to watch and learn) and then $21/hr once they have their own patients they are responsible for. Plus they walk away with a certification you can use anywhere in the world. -Full benefits (health, dental, drugs, AD&D, life insurance) after 3mo probation. -Flexible scheduling
Cons
-Cannot match hospital wages, where donors and private funding for equipment and supplies is ample. MedSleep is a private company with provincial billing; Ministry of Health sets out how much the company can earn per study. Cannot make money appear just to pay you more because you feel like you should earn more
