Like many tech startups, organization, communication, processes and structure are where Medefy is still lacking. Being let go with zero notice and while I was still right in the middle of several projects is a bit of a slap in the face. After working to expand the visual identity and creating dozens of pieces of sales, internal and external collateral, this definitely led to myself and the entire marketing team (that were all let go on the same day) feeling shocked and like our jobs and work were not valued during our time here.

Untrustworthy leadership, zero transparency. They just abruptly laid off invaluable team members with no consideration for those individuals or remaining employees. Leadership is out of touch with daily operations. Talks a good game but never available to listen and learn. Communication is only top down. Mediocre compensation and benefits and don’t practice what they preach about making quality healthcare accessible to everyone. Overall, super disappointed in this organization.
