Pros

• If you enjoy binge drinking, they certainly promote and reward this behavior at their company parties • They reward mediocre achievements and have a very low bar for what quality is • Offer marginally above industry average benefits in order to be designated as a “Best Place to Work” in healthcare

Cons

• Low opportunity to challenge the status quo or suggest innovative ideas • Very bureaucratic • Lots of fake personalities who will backstab your for personal advancement or gain

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are disappointed to hear about your experience. MHN works hard to create an environment that encourages excellence and innovation and supports collaboration among all our team members. As an organization dedicated to building healthier communities, we set a high bar for quality and creating a safe and healthy workplace. We are proud of our 95% voluntary retention rate and of our two consecutive years of Best Place to Work recognition, which is based on an employee survey covering a variety of factors. Of course, we can always do better. We sincerely value feedback from our current and former employees, so we can continue to improve.

MHN is not it.

Pros

Hybrid work, employee benefits. That's it.

Cons

Avoid this company at all costs! This company has had too many "restructures" (layoffs) in recent years. They are hiring way too many senior leadership roles, and cutting out a large amount of staff who do the real work. Non-executive employees seem to share an unspoken feeling of burnout and general doom, even people who have given their lives to this company for many, many years have begun to fear being laid off. Left this company with little to no real, transferrable skills. Other coworkers who were fired or laid off shared the same feeling, some had graduate degrees and they spent their time editing PowerPoint decks.

Pros

Co-workers, benefits, and work life balance.

Cons

Poor leadership. Priorities change on a dime constantly. No one ever knows who is in charge or who is doing what. Upper management won’t take responsibility or claim ownership of anything, and openly fight with each other to avoid taking on new projects.
