Pros

Work from home, semi good benefits

Cons

Management is clueless to what the industry needs are. Changes were made but made it worse. New director does not know how to run a medical call center. Supervisors and trainers are a joke. Nothing is documented but yet you are penalized for mistakes that are made

Pros

The staff and management are very friendly.

Cons

There are often mandatory extra hours. The turnover rate is high do to the stress that management put on the staff to be perfect.

COO is a Loose Cannon

Pros

Provides a great service to clients.

Cons

The COO of the company, Robert Donnelly, is completely obsessed with the competitor in town, Medlink. He will talk about what they're up to more than what his own company is doing and how to make it better; and will do so in the tone of a jealous schoolyard bully. He places unrealistic expectations on his employees and most of these expectations are because of the success of Medlink. The Medical Service Bureau is a part of the Travis County Medical Society, but the leadership simply rolls it's eyes when Mr. Donnelly leaves the room instead of getting a handle on this revenue generating business. It's the most hostile work environment that I've ever been a part of and that starts at the top.
