Pros

At the beginning, good opportunity to learn new technology. Casual dress code Fun co-workers 9 to 5 work schedule without a lunch. They have someone to pickup lunch for you and its not like you can't leave for lunch, its just frowned upon

Cons

You just read the Pros right? Benefits are horrible, some would say that is typical for small companies but this company's revenue exceeds its size I can't provide a honest review for other departments within this company and if you would enjoy working here, but the IT department had a 40% reduction in staffing, almost all left the company and not one position has been filled yet. So the reviews that say the hiring process is quick is a joke. So I would say that good indication of the current situation. This has increased the work load on an already thin staff which has created a poisonous work environment that continues to grown and spread which has made additional employees start to look else where. Don't know if they can stop the bleeding as most are getting disgruntle and are very unhappy. The executive team or the COO assured the team that they are using more resources to find quality candidates to fill these position. However, the COO never addressed this large concern with the team, we where just told. Remember we are small "family" company. Right? The lack of origination, standards, management guidance, support, horrible work environment... It might sound like I'm venting and sure I am. I have worked for a few badly managed companies and they were BAD. When I started it was good, but with bad management that continues to make wrong decisions it starts to pill up. I truly hope they can turn the culture around and make it a better place to work but the negative energy here is thick.

First, we would like to apologize for our tardy reply and thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are committed to creating a comfortable, transparent and collaborative environment for our employees so we’re disappointed to hear about some of your experiences. We’re sorry you received the impression that taking a lunch is frowned upon. Everyone is urged to take at least 30 minutes for lunch. The lunch runs provided by our Facilities team allows you the option to stay in the office if you’d like. Regarding our benefits, we do contribute 90% toward the premiums for our employees and their dependents. According to recent benchmark results, offering 90% toward dependent care is not the norm. And we acknowledge there is always room for improvement with benefits. In recent months, we added several employees to our Infrastructure team who quickly started contributing. We also hired a Document Management expert who is working diligently on our processes and procedures. We are always working on filling open positions, but finding top talent can take time. As for the management team, we recognize there are some pain points and that cross communication needs improvement. We value and consider all feedback and we’ll continue to find ways to improve.

Pros

Get to work with latest technology and lot of products, which may be challenging and overwhelming at times.

Cons

Work like a dog. Unhealthy working environment with unrealistic expectations. Some unqualified "new so-called managers" (read mere Timekeepers) are ruining the work environment. Very poor "Benefits" (really?) - horrible health plan choices. No 401K.

First, let us apologize for the late reply to your review. We currently offer medical and dental insurance and now contribute $1,000 to HSA accounts for employees enrolled in an HSA plan and we deduct $1,000 from the premium for employees enrolled in a PPO or HMO. MTG pays 100% towards disability, Group EAP, and Tele-Medicine. We offer voluntary vision coverage, accident coverage, critical illness, and life insurance. 401(k) matching is always being considered. We know we’re not perfect and we’re always looking for ways to improve. Thanks for taking the time to give us a review.

Pros

Used to be a good but it's filled with ego filled managers now. Almost everyone working here want to leave this company now.

Cons

- politics - low pay - almost no benefits - medical insurance plans are worst I have seen so far - no respect towards employees - fire people at will - zero 401k contribution - many more to list

Regarding the salaries, we believe we are on par or above the national average. Concerning the benefits - we offer medical and dental insurance and now contribute $1,000 to HSA accounts for employees enrolled in an HSA plan and we deduct $1,000 from the premium for employees enrolled in a PPO or HMO. MTG pays 100% towards disability, Group EAP, and Tele-Medicine. We also offer voluntary vision coverage, accident coverage, critical illness, and life insurance. We’re always looking to enhance employee benefits and 401(k) matching is one that is always being considered. We participate in employer-sponsored events throughout the year including team events and company picnics. We enjoy sponsoring monthly events, including luncheons, potlucks, and ice cream socials. We appreciate your time in posting your work experience at MTG. We welcome all feedback and hearing your suggestions.
