Merial Select was a focused organization around manufacturing and distribution of products to the customers.

Pros
The organization cares about it people, they have great leadership and a strong Human Resources organization that the employees trust.
Cons
The end of the JV and the absorption of Merial into Sanofi has detracted from the Merial as a global entity.

Pros
The HR department cares for the people and will try to satisfy all the needs of the employee. The company has a lot of holidays.
Cons
Since the company has been bought by another company and the home office is in France for some, the upper management can do what they want and not have any repercutions for poor work performance. Also, since the company is going through change no one knows where the will be in two years.
