Pros

They have free food on Fridays. Great location in SoHo next to subway. Majority of the workforce is REALLY young, so if you are a college grad or party type, you'll have fun with the crowd.

Cons

To the point on age above, that also turns out to be a weakness as the overall maturity level is painfully low, which may be annoying if you are a bit more seasoned with experience. Not a cutting edge agency when it comes to tech. They also suffer from a symptom very common in a lot of agencies: the clique syndrome. There is a small inner circle with the senior management and their junior level minions who do their bidding, and they promote each other. There are a few really nasty, manipulative personalities and if they feel you are smarter or bring good ideas to the table and you are not a part of their clique, they will harass/treat you poorly until you leave. Their HR department is also not the most professional in the world.

Pros

Great name (account) in Mercedes Benz Great partners Great entry level experience Digital Media team getting acquainted with Programmatic space, which is good

Cons

Poor leadership, seem to be only out for themselves Favoritism, petty cliques, petty politics very rampant (related to point above) Divisive culture - No accountability Little opportunities for growth, raises or advancement Little to no diversity High turnover for mid/senior level career employees (stagnant culture and no room for growth so they leave).

Pros

N/A- felt isolated and targeted

Cons

Overall company cons- - Only 10 days of PTO - Benefits are mid - Huge lack of diversity. Was the only person of color on my team and they continually hired a one note individual. - No DEI initiatives - No career growth- up to the discretion of leadership and if they don’t like you, they won’t promote you. - No camaraderie whatsoever. Was essentially a one-man team and was often not given opportunities other team members had like pitching new business. Personal cons - Was treated very differently than others. Was talked down to and disrespected. Accidentally overspent on a campaign by $2K- was threatened to revoke privileges on platforms, was asked why no apologizing or “concerned”. Shortly after- another campaign over spent by $30K and the response was “oh ok, just reallocate budget”. At the end, was ignored. - When discussing concerns regarding how bad treatment was with evidence and the response was “maybe they are just having a bad day”- Companies are never there to look after employees but only leadership and the company. - Client left the agency (not for anything bad) and they were so ready to fire me. They claimed to be doing everything they can to help, but never saw any effort, felt like empty words. - Once left for the day at 4:50 and because leadership was mad, was chastised for leaving early (knowing was going to hop back online when getting home) when leaders often leave way before 5. - Early in tenure, when asked where do I see myself growing, mentioned “project management or producing” and they said not possible, said ok and when they asked in a second review said “would love to eventually grow into a Performance Marketing Director” and that was treated with such hostility asking if I was not happy or cared or passionate, which surprised me because I was looking to expand my knowledge and skill set. This is a company that does not want you branching out. Very stay in your lane. - Lastly like to mention there were never any complaints about performance. The work resulted in Paid Social being a top producing channel. Not just here complaining. - Overall, a very triggering experience that is not in tune with the modern-day workplace. Would not recommend working there whatsoever. Felt like leadership was breathing down my neck where one would be chastised for leaving the desk. They love to claim the average tenure is 7 years, but definitely not my experience. Stay far away.
