Great colleagues and lovely office, but concerning management practices. We have good days and bad days.
Pros
Friendly colleagues - the 3D modellers, developers and engineers are great people to work with. Lovely office with a wonderful view of the South Downs. Coffee machine and snacks provided. Fun work socials, well-being walks and other activities.
Cons
Disciplinaries are concerningly frequent with dismissals being poised as a looming possibility, which in the past, has been exercised on individuals who appeared to work well with the team. Minor issues that management dislikes occur as a HR process out of nowhere, when you think you are being seen positively by the company. Zero progression, low trust environment and hybrid working rights given to modellers and developers much less often compared to other kinds of staff. Social activities which HR organises, even ones to improve team well-being, are made into LinkedIn posts; has made a few of us ponder on their true purpose. Please note, all this might sound horrible but we do have good days here. Hopefully nothing bad will happen to me from posting this.
