Pros
Decentish benefits. Not a lot of work to be done so there’s a lot of down time. Most days are spent stretching a small task out for eight hours. Overall not a terrible place to work but don’t expect to make a career out of it.
Cons
Typical stratified environment. Management can be petulant at times but that’s predictable from these types of businesses. There’s quite a bit of folks pulling the ladder up behind themselves but when there’s not much to be done you can expect people to do that for job security.

The company cares about each employee as an individual yet part of our larger work family; I feel respected and valued.

Technology - especially optics - can be tricky.
