Great Place to Work For

Pros

Flexibility, family-orientated business. I am disappointed to see some reviews about where it is stated that unless you are a home office employee, you are not cared for. I couldn't disagree more. Everyone that works in the home office is completely on board with the mindset that if it wasn't for our field staff, we would not exist. We exist in the home office to support our field staff, and we think very highly of all of our field staff. I have been a part of sending numerous thank you cards, gifts, recognition, etc. The longevity of over half of our staff, both field and home office, speak to the culture of Mid America Health and that is, it is a great company to work for.

Cons

Offer more training, individual or team

Terrible!!!

Pros

Making new friends from the many people you will meet.

Cons

Poor management skills with a lack of compassion and understanding what their employees deal with and go through on a daily basis. No abilities to mediate clinical issues. They just don’t care! They view employees as replaceable.

Pros

Lots of PTO vacation time. 4 weeks a year. Flexible and some good people to work with.

Cons

Lack of communication, poor leadership. The only way to get promoted even if you're more than qualified is to be sneaky and suck up to certain managers. Fiscally unstable and very small-business minded.
