Pros

Met some great colleagues and learned lots from good practice.

Cons

Ineffective SLT, gaslighting, blatant lying, scapegoating and inability to accept fault in their own decisions. This creating towards a toxic school culture of overworked teachers and support staff.

Not disability friendly to work for, culture of ableism Inconsistent structure and messaging from management Lack of investment in staff Underpaid compared to equivalent roles in neighbouring Lothian Incredibly understaffed Workload unmanageable Disconnection in communication between upper management and team leaders
