Pros

Nice apartment. Pay is decent for Honduras.

Cons

Having worked as a teacher for several years, it has been the worst administration I have experienced. The focus is on money and image, not on students or education. Multiple issues were brought forth by teachers, only to be ignored or belittled. Everything is micromanaged, yet always disorganized and done at the last minute. I hope they change their ways.

Pros

The teachers really care about the students and in doing awesome work to help them learn and grow. Very sweet students who deserve the world. There was a lot of effort to recognize and reward positive behavior from the students. Certain members of admin were very helpful and supportive. Admin also did a great job providing a place to live and handling obtaining a work visa. The curriculum is from the United States and builds on itself well.

Cons

When I worked there, there was a lot of disorganization. Education seemed to take a lower priority than putting on fun events that made the school look good to the community, but interrupted class time (and required lots of unpaid teacher overtime to put together). Meetings were constantly scheduled after contract hours. The curriculum was good, but was also way above my students' level. Resources were very minimal.
