Hello, Thanks for your feedback which is always appreciated. Given all our team have been with minicabit min. 2 years, we don’t recognise the picture you portray. As you mention, we have a fast paced and dynamic environment which perhaps isn’t for everyone. But our CEO is always learning how to make life easier for the team, for instance in the last year alone personally championing the automation of key processes, which was recognised in the team’s recent win as ‘Digital Business of the Year’ at the National Business Awards.

Pros

Good concept, began as a unique concept and therefore has that as an advantage.

Cons

CEO pushes employees too hard with bad direction. High staff attrition rate.

Hello, Sorry you seemed to ultimately not have had a positive experience. No one including our CEO is perfect and all feedback is valued, especially when a business is experiencing strong growth, now as the UK’s 2nd most visited cab website (after Uber). However, the fact that minicabit’s team won 2 major industry awards in the last year alone and, significantly, was runner up as ‘Team of the Year’ at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards hopefully shows our CEO and the team’s mission driven focus is being recognised.

Pros

- Opportunity to learn a lot as it's a small company & you are expected to work on lots of different things

Cons

- Had lots of potential to be an exciting company, but not ambitious or visionary enough - Expected to be "on-call" all the time to sociopathic CEO's whims - CEO tends to hire young employees on low salaries, with low amount of experience, who he can manipulate easily - Uncompetitive salaries, non-existent benefits, share & bonus schemes a sham - Providing value to customers not a priority in CEO's eyes versus generating revenue/profit

Hello, Sorry you seemed to not have had a positive experience. Whilst every fast growing business no doubt has growth pains, we kindly agree to disagree with the key points raised. In the past, the CEO personally supported the government’s youth apprentice scheme which enabled a few school leaver apprentices to successfully develop real world working skills and graduate from their courses courtesy of minicabit. We’re thrilled they’re all prepared for working life as a result. Having completed our commitment to the apprentice scheme, one will see everyone at minicabit has been with us for min. 2 years, with its Board members and advisers working with the CEO for well over 5 years. In an online cab market that has seen many competitors enter and then fade out over the years, you can appreciate the team’s focus on operating as a commercially viable business, which is why our team have worked hard for minicabit to now become the UK’s largest cab comparison service. But one of our many proud achievements is that minicabit is the highest rated UK cab platform on Trustpilot. Hopefully nothing can convey the value our CEO and the team strives to provide for customers better than that.
