I've been on calls where derogatory comments have been made and laughed at.
Lack of positive feedback. My manager very rarely thanks me for any of the work I complete, which is very demotivating.
Lack of management support, I feel like my manager is consistently rude, disrespectful and unprofessional towards me.
General lack of organisation and planning, there's just no clear direction. It’s very much “pick up this work” on the day with no idea of what we are working towards.
Multiple people have left recently without much explanation and more senior management are leaving in the next couple of months to start their own business which is concerning.
When someone left a few months ago, their manager was very rude about them in a work group chat and at a meeting, when another person left recently, their manager was also very rude about them. It's just very unprofessional and bitter, and this behaviour towards employees has made me feel very uncomfortable.
Some teams have to time track all of their daily activity, not just client work, so emails, meetings etc. which feels very micromanagement to me.
The start-up vibe has just fallen apart as we have grown in size. With more staff comes more complexity and management just hasn’t caught up.
On multiple occasions clients have shouted at, swore at or been generally rude to myself and co-workers. Senior management don’t seem to address this or particularly care which is concerning.
