Pros

I was able to learn a lot about startups and was able dipped my toes into every part of the business.

Cons

They were a bit disorganized, and as an intern they had me translating every time they needed someone to translate from French and Spanish as no one spoke those languages.

Pros

As a startup, Modalyst has gone through many changes and moves very fast. While Modalyst may not be a fit for everyone, if you are passionate about e-commerce, creative, and self-directed, this is a good place for you. Modalyst is for people who want to hit the ground running and do everything they can to help the company succeed. There is a lot of room for growth, and the team is game to try new strategies all the time. As a startup, expect to wear many hats and learn a lot from everything and everyone here. Team is small and tight! Expect to hang out with them and have lots of fun. Also, if you love fashion don't forget that you can buy from the designers represented on the platform.

Cons

Office is in a open space, so it can be distracting to work at the table.

Pros

- Fashion tech start-up - LOVED the premises and working environment - Small team - Easy recruiting process

Cons

- Low pay - The company is still fairly new and the business model changed multiple times over the course of my time there which created a lot of internal and external confusion (B2B). - No one on the team was an actual employee though working full-time, complete blurred lines... Find out more at your own risk! There also seems to have a preference for new grads with little to no experience which would be fine if there were actual Managers around to train and guide them. - One of the 2 founders (Jill) has the most horrible people skills and embodies the dark side of the start up industry: GREED ! Zero consideration whatsoever for the team, everything revolves around her and sales.
