Pros

Most of the doctors and VA/RVTs are wonderful, smart, passionate people. The 4 x 10 hour shifts would be great if you didn't spend the other 3 days in an anxiety spiral about returning to work.

Cons

The amount of effort put into marketing this company as a caring, respectful workplace is mind-boggling when you are hired and see the reality. It's actually a little psychotic to pinpoint exactly what the industry needs, articulate that, and then do the opposite. Gaslighting happens daily. As an employee you are watched, tracked, and assessed as if you are always on the edge of disciplinary action, even as a high performer. In fact - you are always on the edge of disciplinary action. It is made very clear that you do not matter as an individual, at least at the in-clinic level. Experienced, skilled nurses are treated like children by incompetent management. People are discriminated against, staff are fired in the middle of work days, and anyone seen to be wavering at all are deemed "too negative" and "not displaying Modern Animal behaviors", only to be written up and their job security threatened. It is by far the most toxic environment I have ever worked in and navigating this company has harmed my overall wellbeing.

Poor Execution of a Great Idea

Pros

There are some people who are smart, kind, and really looking to change the industry. The clinics are clean and open, and the business model is great in theory. Opportunity for scrappy work in a start-up feel.

Cons

The leadership doesn't tolerate mistakes or people who take a while to catch on. They make reactive decisions based on anecdotal feelings versus facts, and make changes quickly without thinking through repercussions. It makes for messy operations and an overworked HR team. Because they struggle with hiring, most employees are doing more than one person's job worth of work and are not valued for the contributions they make to the business. In an attempt to be agile, the leadership pivots quickly to the point of whiplash, which makes it difficult to support initiatives that change constantly.

Only great if you're not on the clinical team

Pros

nice facility and great clinical staff who try their best.

Cons

The clinical teams (from whom the entire revenue of the company is generated) constantly get squeezed in multiple directions from the office/leadership teams. Decisions are made in a vacuum without proper testing and poor SOP documentation, leading to poor experience for the in-clinic teams. Operational tools are often designed with no context of how the tools are being used. The company constantly bends over backward to make clients happy, often at the expense of the clinical staff.
