Great company leadership, fascinating work to be done

Pros

The company's leadership and culture is founded on trust. Since the company is 100% remote, employees have complete autonomy and flexibility. The expectation is that you get your work done on time – how or where it gets done doesn't matter. From the CEO down, everyone trusts each other. Mokriya hires the very best and brightest, and then gives them the autonomy to work as effectively as possible. Mokriya embodies the future of remote work and is an excellent company to be a part of.

Cons

Sometimes it gets a little lonely working remotely. At times, communication can be a little bit fragmented. That being said, I've never seen a company as effective as Mokriya at communicating across borders and time zones. Just part of the territory.

Pros

Mokriya has been an amazing company to work for—the projects are engaging (with both big and small clients), the culture is extremely trusting & autonomous, and the people supportive & unique. If you're new to remote work or have already been working remote for awhile, you should definitely consider a role here. As my first-time experience working remote, I learned a lot about myself and the aspects of successful remote working practices. The people from the CEO, developers, product managers, and designers are all extremely approachable and communication is as good as you make of it. In addition there are chances you can work with clients directly on-site or through workshops which is a good way to break the remote work mold and meet your co-workers or clients.

Cons

Communication can always be a challenge in working remote and it can be especially difficult managing several communication channels internally and external with clients. Time zones as well. You definitely need to be flexible here. Depending on the client and project, the work can span the course of a couple of months to over a year. It would be good to know the expected project duration prior to joining a specific project (if you have a choice that is). I was always a bit unsure about career growth.

A really good place to work

Pros

Projects are always for big companies and have some kind of innovation involved, so you're always learning something new. People are great to work with, including owners and they do the best to makes everybody more closer and comfortable. The work is done based on trust, no camera recording you, nor needs to write daily reports informing what you've done. You just need to get your job done. You can have a great balance of personal and professional life.

Cons

The development velocity is often more important than the quality. For example, even we always have a QA team, it's very rare writing automated tests for apps. People allocation is hard sometimes. It's very common you start working on a project and change to another project overnight.
