I was initially excited to apply because the mission of helping older adults really aligned with my background. I had worked in a nursing home and understood the problem Mon Ami was solving. Unfortunately, the interview experience was disappointing. The early rounds were fine but when I got to the final interview with the CEO, the tone shifted. The CEO came across as cold and dismissive. It felt like they had no interest in actually having a conversation. I was interrupted multiple times and nothing about the interaction felt respectful or collaborative. I was hoping for a values driven environment but what I experienced felt completely opposite of the company’s stated mission. After that call I never received a follow up or even a simple rejection email. I had invested time and effort into multiple interviews only to be ignored at the end. This lack of professionalism was frustrating and honestly surprising from a company that claims to prioritize care and empathy. Takeaway If you are looking for a thoughtful or respectful interview experience, I would think twice. The CEO did not treat the conversation with professionalism and the overall process left a bad impression.
