Pros

There are none what so ever.

Cons

At Mon Motors, they have a range of job opportunities which you will be required to do all at once. You will be paid as low as possible but be required to do everything, tiring and stressing yourself out doing job roles which are usually managements. They do not offer any of their employees the benefit of specialist, brand-related training in a personalised and supportive environment of a family-based business. They expect you to put your blood, sweat and tears into a job without any form of training. Whether you’re looking to build on your skill set as a Sales Executive, progress as an expert Technician or if it’s an administrative role you’re interested in, by pursuing a career with Mon Motors I can assure you will be working for one of the most ruthless, selfish opportunist businesses across England and Wales. They’re dealerships across Brecon, Merthyr Tydfil, Cardiff, Cwmbran, Chepstow, Bristol, Chippenham, Newport and Bath are required to communicate with one another frequently through the day. Helping customers is a constant battle as certain people are unwilling to help members of staff deal with enquiries customer has. Most members of staff are unwilling to take on their responsibilities and work together as a team. The customers money is the priority, they get this by ensuring staff are treated like robots. You are not allowed to have a personality and have to follow a strict regimented script in all areas of the business. Staff across all departments and dealerships are not helped and expected to know the answers only a manager would know. They have driven even the strongest and nicest of people to breaking points due to how unsympathetic and unhelpful they are.. Their business is a sinking ship and are trying their best to keep it afloat. The only reason they are keeping it running is by cutting bonuses, terminating contracts illegally, driving people to insanity and by ensuring you receive no benefits in the business. The one benefit is one you pay for. They have is a car benefit scheme which thieves a disgusting amount of money from you per month. You get to choose a model of car to use as your own for 6-12 months. Once you return the vehicle they will take money out of your wage with no notice for deductions such as new tyres, new alloys, dirt marks, new bodywork. Success is only possible if they employ the right people and that begins with the directors and managers themselves. If they provide themselves with the effective communicative skills and treated their staff appropriately, they might be able to gain the skills to run a business properly. They have a proven track record of providing employees with no professional opportunity and ensuring you are reduced to tears almost on a daily business. They have proven to change peoples contracts without their knowing and often do things illegally such as not going through disciplinary procedures, changing working hours with no notice, take a percentage of bonus off of you which you had earned, etc. If you want to be treated like a number, this is the place for you. If you would like to have no christmas or department parties arranged, this is the place for you. If you want to work for a company that supports you in your role and encourages you to be the very best that you can be, then this is definitely not the place for you.
