Pay... They do not pay well compared to other hospitals in a 30 mile radius.

Hard to overstate the level of incompetence in IT management. In just over 2 years the turnover has been staggering, from the CIO to managers and engineers, even techs, many employees have left after only a few months once they realize just what they are dealing with. HR shows nothing but contempt for employees who voice concerns, they will move heaven and earth to silence anyone who does not agree with their friends in management. It's an incredibly toxic culture of small town tribalism. Salary and benefits are mediocre at best, positions will go unfilled for months or even years because of this. Almost no effort is put into attracting and retaining the kind of employees this place desperately needs.
