      Smart People, Poor Management

      Pros

      Mobile is an interesting industry to work in. It's challenging, but fulfilling to work with industry leading clients. The company's best quality are some of its ambitious young employees.

      Cons

      Moovweb's best days are behind them. There has been a huge amount of attrition in quality employees do to poor management and lack of growth. Almost the entire executive team has left within the last year. There needs to be more resources and structured support to over worked employees.

      Unqualified, upper management does a horrendous job of managing and facilitating all the departments.

      Employees fleeing in droves

      Pros

      Product was once exciting and fun to use and had a good market niche Friendly family kind of atmosphere with the good coworkers, kitchen w/ free snacks and drinks, video games and ping pong in office

      Cons

      No one has faith in management, which has caused mass exoduses and we are still losing people left and right. Morale bad and people openly grumbling about executives and VPs. Platform engineering team all left and they couldn't hire anyone so they offshored core product, which the rest of us have to use. People still here that I talk with are mostly talking about leaving (or leaving). Company's best days are over and the product niche doesn't really exist anymore but management is spinning yarns about how everything's rosy

      Thank you for your review. We do have products that are exciting, both our first product, Adapt, and our new products Optimize and MoovCheckout. Since you wrote this review we have moved into a new office space and it makes the atmosphere even better, but I agree, we do have a great atmosphere. With regards to your cons, in April we made some key additions to the management team and I believe the management team we have in place now is the strongest ever and will put us in the best position for the future. Our client base is extremely valuable and important to us and our Adapt line of business is strong. We derive a substantial amount of profit from Adapt, so much so that we can invest significantly in the development of new products and markets while still being cash flow positive. I take your feedback to heart as it is clear I have not done a good enough job of communicating the strength of our Company overall and Adapt in particular. I plan to do so in detail at our next Company all-hands meeting.
