Pros

Some great colleagues and roles are well paid but prepare to sell your soul.

Cons

Micromanagement a real issue and to many 'yes' men who are unable to challenge poor decisions. If your face fits, you will be protected.

Pros

- staff are polite - beautiful locations - pay is centralised - will make reasonable adjustments for disbalities

Cons

- rural except for Elgin - frequently no technology in the classroom or for pupils (council has no money) - lack of PSAs (council has no money) - lack of HR forms being easily visible or accessible -overactive smoothwall blocks a lot of access to modern issues you would expect to be available for pupils to research - impacting almost all departments - would advise not work in Moray schools as an 'out' LGBTQ+ teacher
