Pros

Some engineers and leaders are nice and qualified.

Cons

The working environment is toxic. The senior management team always has unclear and unrealistic goals. The employees become overwhelmed and stressed trying to achieve these goals; over time, people lose motivation and become disengaged. The job satisfaction is really low. Hard work and competence are not respected and rewarded; promotions are based on favoritism rather than merit. Those incompetent individuals who are in critical roles always make poor decisions and costly mistakes. Engineers don’t trust in management and the fairness of organizational practices. There is no work-life balance here. Management level consistently setting aggressive deadlines, regardless the complexity of tasks. This company is more for smooth talkers and brown-nosers, rather than those who want to develop their career/ passionate about tech itself.

Pros

Some engineers are well-qualified and quite helpful.

Cons

The company's working culture is toxic, with some teams focused solely on their own issues. Management values quantity over quality, as they only measure success by the number of tickets completed, regardless of the complexity or importance of the task. Unfortunately, promotions and raises seem to be based on who you know within the company or if the CEO favours you. Additionally, management expects employees to work overtime and on weekends. While the company claims to be inclusive and open to communication with HR, in reality, employees are wary of sharing their thoughts as they fear being taken advantage of. Overall, opportunities for growth within this company seem scarce. It is worth noting that some of the company's positive reviews may not accurately reflect the overall employee experience. For instance, the company reportedly requires employees to participate in internal surveys, which may skew the results in favour of the company's interests.

Pros

- Free lunch on Fridays. - Free coffee downstairs. - Probably the only semiconductor design company in Sydney.

Cons

I would first like to clarify that I am not doing this because of my bitterness with the company, this is truly for people leaving their dreams behinds to work for this company. Much like you, I was keen on working at the HQ as well, surely the office views are astonishing, But trust me all that glitters is not gold. If you are a grad, get ready to be over worked, pressurised and harassed into a toxic environment. I don't know what criteria they have for selection but surely favouritism is one of them. Just because they have a flag of your country doesn't mean they are not racially biased. I was pushed to work till 7:30- 8:00 PM and some grads worked on their projects even after that time. You have to complete project every week that are basically just tasks their engineers are too lazy to finish. And even though if you finish all your projects, the lady who knows someone in the company gets the perma contract. Please, if you value your mental health and want to balance your work and family, don't opt for this company.
