Pros

Pay and Work-life balance are decent if you chose not to receive emails on your personal phone which they do not pay for or cover some of your cell phone bill.

Cons

There is a definite gap between company values, mission, and vision and how this business operates. The culture at this company is cut-throat. Culture in the corporate office makes coming to work very difficult. "Unwritten rules" in the office are the most ridiculous things I have ever heard of and are not consistently upheld depending on your gender. The red tape and politics of this company make decisions almost impossible to make. A family company which means everyone must have their hands in everything. Does not allow flexibility to work from home unless absolutely necessary. Must need an excuse (get with the times) The PTO structure, unless changed, will keep this company from retaining top younger talent (holidays not included as PTO and must use personal PTO to be paid - yikes). Still employed and hope to be the driving change in the company, but actively searching.

Pros

Benefits and paid time off are decent. Co-workers in the trenches are friendly but be careful who you vent to.

Cons

Not an equal opportunity employer. Very racist upper management and they will walk all over you. The more you do (if female or not Caucasian) the more they take and with no monetary or verbal acknowledgement, not even a thank you.

Pros

Pay and benefits are comparable with other dealerships in our area. Facilities in showroom and lounge are kept nice. Heat in the shop works very well, and for the most part we have what tools we need to complete repairs.

Cons

Management in this company is either young with no experience in the trucking industry or has some experience in the field, but has a warped view of work load and stress level of coworkers within their dealership. The companies mission statement looks good on the wall, but it seems the companyvis more concerned with gross profit and productivity that the true health and well being of their employees. The "blue collar" worker is over worked, pushed to meet deadlines created by management, and is not adequately trained for the positions they hold. This company also hires to many young technicians with very little experience and expects them to produce efficiency of that of someone with 10 plus years of experience. On the other side of that coin they expect the experienced technician to train the younger inexperienced technicians on how to do their job, however if their efficiency drops below 90% they have to answer for it and face possible disciplement. Raises within this company is also based mainly on efficiency not by work ethic or capability.
