There are so many. The business model to have local coordinators work as a contractor is a way for the company to exploit the resources of the coordinators so the company is not responsible for providing the resources coordinators need for their work, such as office supply costs and gas, and gas is a big one because there is so much traveling required. Their business model is set up so that you are working 24/7 with little to no support from the organization, and you are also held legally liable for minors, which can include navigating some very serious and complex situations involving health care and more. The pay does not match the amout of labour and expenses that is required to perform the job.
