Pros

The hours were good and I was able to connect with customers on a daily basis over the phone. I loved when I was able to go above the customers expectations. Just hearing the smile and joy over the phone made my day.

Cons

Management at this location was horrible. They treated their employees poorly and expected them to start their day before their shifts began, stay over after their shifts ended, and if they did not sell they were sent home. The turn around was constant - they could not keep plumbers more than 6 months due to their treatment of their employees.

Pros

Right to work employer, so you can leave when catch wind of what’s going on

Cons

My Plumbers day to day operations are no longer run by owner. Current management inflicts crippling favoritism that affects how all technicians are paid. Dispatch has the power of the purse/opportunity. If dispatchers don’t carry on with the favoritism practices they are fired. Giant revolving door, you can kind of tell by the now hiring sign on 66 almost always. This place breaks your spirit. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time if you want to be a plumber here. I promise you will get a small grace period where you seem to make decent money until you realize all the opportunities seem to disappear. Where are they going you ask? Everyone on the staff from accounting to hr dept, dispatchers to techs know where all the opportunities go. Ask if you go in for an interview. The favoritism to one plumber is so apparent you could only come to a conclusion that the manager and lead dispatch must be getting some dark money or kickback. Don’t quit your job to become a dispatcher here, you’ll be out of a job and terminated without cause. The cause is clearly you gave someone other than “the favorite “ a chance to make money. Don’t know why there is even a dispatch department. Your not able to make dispatch decisions. Every good opportunity is filtered through the lead dispatcher who overwhelmingly decides to give “money calls” to the same people. I’m pretty sure the only reason there is not just one dispatcher is for the technicians to have a broad range of blame. All the rest of the dispatchers are doing what they are told, not our fault. On several occasions I have tried to send a good call to different techs and I have had to have these conversations with management that threatens my job if I try to dispatch in a way they makes sense. The lead dispatcher either from the office or from home will redirect the call to her liking.

Pros

It was good when the founder was managing the mangers, but after his death.. everything went downhill

Cons

Current management inflicts crippling favoritism that affects how all technicians are paid." Customer started noticing how expensive this company is and they get less calls day after day. They also do some weird accounting calculations and the charge you more than the parts cost. Less calls an too much pressure and micro managing, You get one or 2 calls for the all day. If you don’t sell, it your problem and u will make no money because they are 100% comission.
