They are known in the special needs/nonprofit community for several negative traits: frequent workplace affairs, favoritism, and zero confidentiality (especially from the HR team - they discuss staff's personal matters out in the open workspace regularly). From working there, I learned that in addition to these qualities, they do not hold employees to equal standards, and nearly the entire staff hates (but fears) the executive director. Politics is masked as 'family' culture and history/tenure is valued over talent.
