Pros
I feel extremely supported in my role by the senior leadership team and empowered to make decisions in and for my department. I am inspired by my colleagues commitment to the work and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. The work is having real impact in the lives of children and families and there is nothing more rewarding.
Cons
Working as a remote-first organization can be hard and isolating. The organization has definitely been going through growing pains as it transitions from a startup to a growth stage organization. With that, comes the need to change processes and procedures and that can be time intensive. In the end, it is all a sign of positive growth but growing can be tough!
