      Pros

      Some fun people, depending on the department Flexible WFH options for certain offices/positions

      Cons

      The political differences between the Spokane office and Seattle/LA bleed into cultural decisions for the firm. It feels like even though the majority of employees would like a more progressive corporate landscape, the firm is held back by Spokane's views which causes many young people to jump ship. Not great compensation or benefits for the industry. Awful vacation time for lower level staff while Principals are gone for entire months. Very little recognition. I received more thank yous from working with people at other firms than I did people at my own firm.

      Pros

      - Collaborative Environment - Great place to grow once licensed and with about 5-6 years experience - Leadership is receptive - Cross-office collaboration is strong - Financially Strong - Work-life balance is achievable; however, some of those who pour themselves solely into their work tend to be rewarded for their dedication - There's increasingly progressive work! - The firm cares about design - Strong, healthy client relationships

      Cons

      - Very Corporate (very slow with progress) - Difficult to be taken seriously if not licensed - Male-dominated - Professional development is hard to get in the experience level between entry level and Project Architect - Difficult to move laterally into different facets of the profession - Roles are continually ambiguous - Support from leadership is inconsistent - Feedback is rare, but leadership is improving on it! - Currently, the main path to leadership is through project management

      Projects were pretty incredible/inspiring and the team members were great.

      Cons

      Paid very low in the industry, overworked, underappreciated, lots of turnover for younger/greener staff.
