Continuous micro-managment from the top. Aw is the new CEO - Ugh. "NAFSA Nice" was declared verboten by the CEO. I guess that means kindness is off of the table. All of the resources and conference content is stale. Same old same old... The senior staff are toadies.

I had a great manager who really listened and allowed me to try new things. Many of my colleagues has a similar relationship with their managers. I left because I got recruited for another association, but if I could do it again, I would have stayed at NAFSA.
