      Pros

      Above market pay and good holiday entitlement Nice scenery at HQ Decent expenses policy

      Cons

      Everything has to be signed off by senior management which creates a massive bottleneck and also demotivates staff as they feel totally untrusted to do work. Unfair pay structure with rare progression from admin to senior scales. Working culture ironically reflects a poorly run school where headteacher oppresses/bullies staff. No training and development for staff. You are here for either 3 months or 33 years forced to accept a lack of job satisfaction and career development for a steady pay cheque if you do stay.

      Pros

      Remote working is effective but high pressure environments with difficult line management level staff. Lots of Annual Leave.

      Cons

      Misogyny is a deep rooted issue in the staff structure. Lack of training for managers/line managers on boundaries and micro management.

      Pros

      Great benefits e.g pension and annual leave; Really good pay; Friendly team; Progress is achievable if you push Fitbit and work hard; When you’ve worked in other ‘corporate’ jobs you can appreciate the dynamic. No pay progression based on performance reviews. No KPIs or stressful demands. Supportive environment; Get to see deer running past the window sometimes!

      Cons

      I wish it was a bit more sociable. You don’t really get to know other teams very well and feel a bit separated; Office is in the middle of Lickey Hills so nowhere to go on your lunch break which can feel isolating if you’re used to working in a city centre; Employer not flexible enough - hopefully this is something which is starting to change; Sometimes old fashioned in their working practices.
