They treat staff here like bricks. If you're available, then you are thrown into a project, whether you are qualified or not, and whether you want to do it or not. You career development plans are not a consideration.
There is a lot of hardware level work here, too much for a software geek like me.
There is little software development methodology here, not even agile. We are basically a hack shop. No reviews, no designs. Just code it up and ship it.
The president and CEO is a major type-A control freak. She will drive you crazy and quite possibly out the door to find other work. It is mainly because of her that this place has a very high turn-over rate. Without her, this place might be tolerable.
