Pros
Supports further education efforts, primarily through Online Certifications. Company is a small MSSP and primarily LogRhythm vendor. Very low barrier to entry, education and experience wise.
Cons
Little to No in-house application development capability. Your first shifts post "training" will be for the weekends, 12 hr shifts. No job security (At will Employee Contract). Promotion is strictly Seniority based. Opportunity for promotion is purely based on company growth, which was slow during my employment. Compensation is Salary is 43750, non-negotiable. Inner-Communication with Leadership is poor.
