Pros

- Learn to play the most complex and sophisticated office politics. - Get rewarded handsomely if you suck up to management.

Cons

- Treat employees like disposable utensils, dismissing them with ridiculous excuses after making full use of their capabilities. - Acting ceo and her so call leadership team have absolutely no idea what they are doing and company have no clear business direction. - HR team do not respect employees and fail to upkeep with what was promised. - Going to work not knowing what drama to face on a daily basis and people fight each other for the significant work but throw mundane tasks to junior members without caring for their learning or career development.

Pros

- salary is according to market standard - work life balance - lots of new things to learn - nice office and good location - friendly colleagues

Cons

- too afraid to do things differently, stick to usual 'recipe' - it was in progressive direction by diversifying the products under previous ceo, but unfortunately without cost control, then the the company is trying to turn 180 degree to go back to old business model, ignoring the fact that the world has changed - too much foreign talent, for the position that is not very unique or special, that actually a lot of singaporean would be qualify and perform well if given chance - interim ceo out of touch with the ground, demanding all staff to help to steer the boat, not realizing the fact that too many hand on the deck, will bring the boat to nowhere - interim ceo does not have any background in loyalty and data analytic business, bring the company to the state of confusion - despicable method of assigning 'special project' or 'weird position' that is not according to the skill, interest and capability of the person, in order to force some staffs to resign without having to pay for compensation. although it is not uncommon in corporate world, it is disgusting especially considering that this is NTUC - board of director is not taking responsibility for the situation, given that the previous spending spree was approved by them anyway, and now blame the previous ceo for overspending... the board also is not taking responsibility for appointing inexperience interim ceo to helm the boat, which is ridiculous.. no corporate out there will do this kind of nonsense.. remember what happen when business trained ceo leading engineering based corporate like smrt? train breakdown! same here... getting HR's trained ceo to lead loyalty programme and data analytic business?

Pros

New office is at CBD - Good location

Cons

Not a social enterprise - company focuses on revenue only and nothing else Branding is confusing - Plus Program and NTUC LINK is not the same for the lay man Ex CEO : energetic fellow for the wrong position - needs to know how to empower his team rather then instill fear in them. current CEO: she is okay - but not as approachable as she used to be. She doesn't have her ears on the ground anymore - instead she reply on too many "blue" eye individuals in her senior management team to give her the sensing on the ground which most times is very bias and not accurate Peers- highly political environment! be careful! unless you are trained in politics then come and work here else stay far far away - cos you have peers who will just waiting to pull you down or create unnecessary conflicts among your team and the rest just so that they can be seen as "heros" but in actual fact - they are dump and useless. HR - Please hire the locals (Singaporeans and PR) instead to fill up your vacant positions. Too many non-locals who don't understand the culture or ways of doing things... plus NTUC is about doing good for the locals... so who will better understand the issues than the locals themselves...
