Pros

Great people in the company who all work hard and are willing to help out.

Cons

Dennis is a charismatic person who constantly manipulates his employees, many who are fresh-grads into working long unpaid hours. He's been pocketing a lot more than he lets on but when pay is given always tells us that "it's been a bad month" and then tries to psychologically sway us that everyone is in it together.

Pros

- Attire is casual and culture is relaxed - Colleagues are in general friendly and good natured - Meeting of amazing creators and designers - Fun projects and events once in a while - Has a positive image in front of the media, public, government

Cons

- Poor management with no clear direction, many dreams not enough planning and doing - Superiors who wish for short term personal gains - No health, dental or any sort of compensation given - They expect you to work OT, weekends and PH uncompensated, but when you take leave, they calculate it down to the half day. - Lack of proper infrastructure and systems - Unwillingness of management to invest in upgrading systems for growth - No clear KPI to define performance, you are deemed as contributing as long as the core members think that you are - Career opportunities are limited if you are not in the core team, everyone else is just dispensable - Pay is pitifully low. Yes a profit sharing model was agreed upon but the amount received is at least 2 times lower than what was promised as the "norm" - Management is supposed to on same payment method, but actually has a fixed minimum pay drawn in bad months; very very unfair system that is not clearly explained to the staff - Claims to be helping designers and creators but delays their payment very often - Small suppliers who dont ask sometimes dont get paid - Long hours that they expect you to clock is a small matter. Issue is, those time spent can honestly be avoided if proper planning was done

Pros

- the retail staff are extremely fun to work with and i've gained many friends - flexible work hours - flexible with attire (although recently they decided to arrange for uniform tshirts to be made)

Cons

- overworked but underpaid - given manager title only so they dont have to pay you OT but shield it under the excuse of "helping you grow as a leader" - work hours are over the contractual hours as stated on MOM website - biased behavior that stunt the progression of staff that actually work very well - Part Timers are promoted from junior to senior depending on how well the office staff like you, not how long you've worked or how hard you work - Feedback from staff are often ignored or disregarded - Company has no clear vision or goal, making all their procedures extremely messy and troublesome - Company hires secret shoppers to keep an eye on staff and report back to office, company has also asked the staff of neighbouring tenants to do the same. - Office staff sometimes come to the store claiming to "help out" but are mostly just sitting at the counter or at the workshop space on their laptops, making no difference whatsoever - No proper foundation, company is over expanding on an unstable base - Say goodbye to your work/life balance once you join
