Pros

- Leaving - Friends I made - 1 month free mani/pedi

Cons

Where to start: 1) Want not need - the only thing the CEO / founder wants is your soul, your time, your tears 2) White out - descriptive of the lack of diversity in the office 3) The Unfollower - how every person feels after handing in their notice, bye Felicia 4) Black Taxi - what the CEO / founder gets to work everyday, I guess Global Warming isn't a thing 5) It's Cool to be Kind - word of advice before shouting at the office 6) No Tox - ironic as the whole place is toxic and the reason why people struggle with their mental health

Pros

Most non-management team members are great to work with. Some teams have great management and camaraderie (finance, supply chain) Monthly nail treatment.

Cons

Toxic work environment. - Founder will have full blown arguments with team members in front of the entire office. - Marketing management; particularly awful and most people in the office have witnessed multiple junior members of this team crying, you will regularly witness very personal attacks and gas-lighting in this area of the office. The entire marketing team has left within eight months of these new management changes. - Founder shows favouritism to those who agree and pander to her, meaning anyone who disagrees or speaks out is ignored or discriminated against. Low holiday allowance. - 23 days with 3 having to be taken over Christmas despite the office being closed. Lack of respect for holiday days, team members are regularly called/text and expected to answer emails whilst on holiday. Poor Pay. - All staff are underpaid by industry standards, and most team members are doing 5 jobs in one anyway. Founder is oblivious to this however and will expect staff at maximum capacity to do even more. Zero work/life balance or company culture. - No good benefits, no HR department, statutory maternity. Statutory sick pay means people will come into the office when sick because they genuinely can’t afford to be off. - Employees who leave on time or take a full hour for lunch are frowned upon, there is a general belief that if you aren’t working late and over your lunch, you aren’t working hard enough. - When office morale is down (which is often) management make a poor attempt to boost employees by buying everyone pizza. 3 month notice period for all staff - And expect to spend that entire three months having your decision to leave or new role openly bad mouthed by founder or management. Glassdoor bribery - It is common knowledge that team members have been offered payment in exchange for a positive reviews on Glass Door.

Pros

Great discount in products and treatments. The technicians in store are the nicest girls- who truly love what they’re doing.

Cons

Where to even start? Everyone operates in fear as that is how the office is run. You’ll never be good enough as expectations that are set are beyond unrealistic. Work life balance is non existent. Benefits and compensation is non existent. Mental health is at a risk. Happiness and satisfaction is non existent. Absolutely avoid this company at all costs- known in the industry as one of (if not the) worst companies to work for.
