Pros

Had good benifits, if they keep you

Cons

Made 15+ redundant in Jan/Feb, grown too quick too soon, was agressive in recruiting staff and took the eye off the ball money wise. Be warned if you are looking for stabilty, swerve them.

No longer a good company culture

Pros

Holiday days, the employees all genuinely care for each other. A very talented group of people work at Nanosun, they should all be proud of the work that has been put in for the past few months. Cost of living payment. Dedicated to support the drive to Netzero.

Cons

No longer any company culture at all - it used to be a really exceptional place to work where you felt valued. No support system is in place for employees, HR and other teams are all family members that are way too intertwined for a professional workplace. No career development, people getting promotions and title changes when they aren't deserved - again because they're friends of the family. Expected to work a large number of hours over contracted. A lot of pressure is put on employees for the never ending 'final push'. No annual payrise or performance related pay. High staff turnover.

Pretentious Failure

Pros

There are some pleasant individuals to work with. Opportunity to WFH and decent holiday hours.

Cons

Gaslighting management who pretend that they are on your side when in fact they are whispering sweet nothings in your ears... If you like the idea of 37 hours a week but in fact need to work around 45-50 hours a week to hit the unrealistic targets which they create, then look not further. It's not uncommon for management to promise the likes of 'shares' or 'bonuses' to employees as an incentive to work longer and harder hours, - for them only to reject these comments and pretend as though the conversation never happened. Promotions within NanoSUN are based around personal beliefs and if the face fits, don't think that the best person for the job will be in that position. NanoSUN also like to waste the time of other businesses and sell a dream of which they are totally incapable of delivering. All you need to know about this ENGINEERING business is that HR is their biggest team...
