Pros
The company is involved in technically interesting work. They have found a good technical niche for their products. They have strong technical people who are driving some interesting projects. It is a good office with table tennis, kicker table, good coffee and free fruit.
Cons
Lack of any clear and consistent strategy. This creates a number of problems in creating any lasting action plan. Regular flip flopping of strategic direction results in a huge turnover of staff. It is becoming more and more a workplace where project teams act in silos, people don’t have time to help one another and there are established cliques that are hard to break into. Along with the absence of people speaking up in places like all quarterly CEO meetings and R&D meetings should ring alarm bells that this is not a place where people feel comfortable to speak up and is not a company with a collaborative culture.
