Poorly defined roles, Inconsistent management, poor company culture

Pros

Some of the people here are truly great. There are people in the organization that really know their stuff and care about the clients.

Cons

Roles are very poorly defined - it seems that management can't agree on who should be doing what, or what the real priorities are. Management priorities change with the wind. The company culture is weird and feels like high school. Culture is such that gossip, childish personal conflicts, and cliquey behavior get in the way of actual work. Personal opinions of coworkers and arbitrary rules often guide management decisions rather than measurable successes or failures. I would not recommend this organization.

Pros

They paid for our insurance premiums, but then removed that perk.

Cons

- Management would constantly berate other departments often calling them unintelligent. - Asked for better training materials due to my learning disability and they claimed it wasn't worth the trouble and they wouldn't waste their time to help me. - Talked poorly behind people's back in emails without ever bringing up issues to employees. - Managers had power trips and would constantly threaten employees while not assisting them with training or workload - Included peers in performance meetings to intimidate employee, ultimately cornering them and firing them while laughing in their face - HR did nothing to protect employees who reported management harassment - Manager told me that I was not like them because I liked to be creative in my free time

Pros

- quiet office - people generally keep to themselves

Cons

- VERY high turn over - low pay - cut anything worthwhile about their insurance benefits - disorganized structure, no consistency, workflow absolutely impossible to understand with software that constantly glitches - "newest" person in the next step above entry level has been there 12 years while people in the "entry" position have been there 10+, no opportunity to move up
