Pros

Probably the only good thing was how close it was to my house. That is it. Is this 20 words yet?

Cons

Everything else. This place is a total sweatshop. Everyday here is a frustration. Process changes every other minute and nobody can keep up. Management with no knowledge or experience. Not enough people to get the work done. No clear or defined job descriptions or expectations of staff. No training. Management sets everyone up to fail. Natrel seems to be losing clients left and right. We just got done mass lay offs about a month ago and many are still leaving on their own because the place is a total nightmare. I honestly don't even know how much longer this company will be around.

There's a big hole in the boat!

Pros

Some good people trying to keep the company afloat.

Cons

Denial by upper management to see what the problems are that has exacerbated the death spiral over the past year. Clients are leaving at a fast pace. Some serious errors in judgment during the growth period has only added to the internal problems already present at that time. There was no best practices or job flow process in place to accommodate the work flow and this led to a feeling of unprofessionalism and unnecessary amount of time to complete assignments. Unwillingness by management to adapt to the situation created a negative environment throughout the agency. Some in middle management were not highly qualified for their job titles and doubling up on certain duties to save money did not help at all. The new office space is beautiful but became a monument to magical thinking as the space was doubled with no one to fill the seats. I have doubts about the future of Natrel.

A Nightmare I Can't Wake-up From

Pros

Casual environment, new space, summer fridays

Cons

The owner takes advice from his Senior Management, who are interested in how they can personally benefit, and aren't interested in what is best for the company. Big mistake. Unfortunately, after a big layoff last week, those who were interested in growing the company, and effecting change, are gone, and we are left with those people who caused the original problems, and are perfectly fine with the company going backwards. Decisions weren't made on what was best for the company, but instead were made on Senior Management's personal agendas, and decisions of who they like, even if they aren't particularly good at what they do. It is probably just a matter of time before there is another layoff.
