Pros

Some coworkers were supportive — trauma bonded over how bad it was. • Decent commission if you’re part of their inner circle.

Cons

Single moms beware — they claim to offer flexibility but punish you for using it. I communicated multiple times about needing child care accommodations, and it was completely disregarded. • Fired over “production” and “absences” despite being transparent about challenges, only to find out others were given leeway for far worse. • Toxic management: My direct manager would ignore messages, belittle employees in team chats, and offer zero support — but expected miracles. • CEO cussed out the entire staff on an all-company call. I’ve never seen a “leader” so unprofessional. • HR is just a puppet — no accountability, no empathy, and definitely not a safe space. • They’ll smile in your face while working behind your back to push you out. Zero integrity.

Pros

2 months ago, NavSav rating was 2.5 stars from previous employees reviews. Now, the rating is 3.9? Evidently, NavSav powers-that-be decided to put in a bunch of faux reviews to increase their ratings.

Cons

Everything. They buy independent agencies & do not fully staff them. There wasn't even a secretary or CSR to handle incoming insured traffic. A fully staffed agency of 7 (with previous owners); after NavSav bought it, they all left except for 2 employees. 2 agents doing the work of 7 agents. Every day was a nightmare aka struggle. Constant barrage of elderly insureds (needing extra insurance help as they do not use technology) & no one to man the front desk. I couldn't even get up to go to the bathroom without having an insured in my office. This is ONLY the icing on the cake. It gets worse from there. A LAUNDRY list of problems, some which are pretty serious. Honestly, the absolute worst place I have ever worked. And that includes my high school, college jobs.

Pros

Benefits are decent. Work hours for the most part are also decent. My 21 years of seniority with my previous agency was carried over so no loss of time employed.

Cons

25 years of experience as an Insurance agent, and when they bought our agency, they put me at the low end of the salary range, $45,000 a year. We've need additional employees, especially service reps, since November when they acquired our agency, who I worked with for 21 years. We don't get paid overtime for any hours over 40, which we regularly do, just to be able to service our customers. We are unable to property provide service or write new business because the service portion takes up all of our time.
