Supportive team culture, but pay and onboarding could improve

Pros

The Team here is amazing. I’ve gained so many close friends from my time here. Nectar leadership really does care about their employees and they truly live by their values. I know that my manager and other leaders have my back.

Cons

Pay is okay. Not more than similar positions but not the worst. New products seem to launch out of nowhere sometimes and then we’re expected to be trained and ready to sell clients on it immediately. The onboarding process was rough, but pretty typical in a start-up-type company. You can always submit new ideas and feedback about the product, but unless you’re an Enterprise customer spending the big bucks, your idea is a nice to share, but will never be taken seriously or developed.

Pros

People, Leadership, Culture. I really enjoyed my time at Nectar for the last 2 years. I think Nectar has a lot of pieces that many companies are missing. Leadership is on your side of the table. They truly care about leveling you up as a seller and will spend the time to do it. I've never seen this happen anywhere at the extent that it does at Nectar, especially at the executive level.

Cons

Really hard to make money. Not a Nectar problem, more of the industry. HR tech just doesn't have a seat at the table in the eyes of a CFO. At least not the same as Sales, engineering, and marketing tech. Quota attainment is relatively low. You see 1 MAYBE 2 fully ramped sellers actually hit quota quarter over quarter. If you want to hit accelerators, really hard to do it as of today.
