-Mentally and physically draining -Horrible management -Mediocre pay -No employee discounts or benefits -Uniforms get dirty easily -No air con (In the summer it gets very hot and I would have gotten heat stroke if I hadn’t brought water with me) -Severely Understaffed -Huge amount of food waste (we can’t take any spare food home) Working hours are not always suitable for students. Management doesn’t care about employees wellbeing .

no penalty rates?? which is illegal and a contract wasn’t provided so super sketchy. some older staff have an attitude towards younger staff of the same position and managers don’t support and foster a positive environment to work in - constantly checking cameras making sure we’re not chatting, even going as far as to call the restaurant to reprimand the teenagers. compared to other bigger chains i’ve worked in, nene was a horrible work environment.
