Pros

Free parking, nice offices, free fruit provided for staff, many staff members were kind and approachable.

Cons

There was no clear strategy for the company and it's sales team. Training left a lot to be desired. The advertised role was a lot different to the one that you were expected to do. In an interview I was told that it wasn't expected for me to be constantly on the phone in a telesales type role as they already had a massive customer base, but this wasn't true, it turned out that I was expected to be on the phone cold calling people with a very vague sales pitch and set of products. One line manager was an awful line manager who didn't know how to speak to people and communicate. In the end it was clear that my role wouldn't be an easy one and I had to act on that. As people have already mentioned, senior management weren't willing to take suggestions on board and saw them saw suggestions as insults rather than constructive.

Pros

Can’t think of any pro’s I’m afraid. This company is disgusting.

Cons

Downsides to NSUK?! Where do I even start?! 1) internal communication is shocking 2) leadership stuck up!! (look at the first review posted - looks like one of the “leaders” wrote that themselves!! 3) they get rid of people all the time, giving them no opportunities and treating them awful 4) Husband and wife working together is a joke! They used to argue in front of staff (professional business people? I think NOT) 5) They bring people into roles and then when they get them in the door, they change the roles 24.7 and then blame the individual for not caring, or being incompetent 7) you know a place is shocking when you start and get messaged by ex-colleagues warning you about certain people in the management team and how sneaky they are 8) they get rid of fantastic people because they don’t train them up and then set them up to fail 9) they are an absolute joke of a “business” and deserve karma for the amount of lives they have ruined

Pros

Free parking that is about it....

Cons

OK, this company is having issues, they sacked their entire sales staff and wonder why they don't get any sales. The absolute basics of business are being ignored here, cutting the very legs from under it. NSUK may have a good support and marketing staff but with no new companies coming on board because of no sales team wait sorry "customer advisers" this has a knock-on effect too. It's no good having the best marketing team in the world if the customers don't get a service. I've heard of companies waiting months for a solution and by then they have gone elsewhere. Along with no sales team you have Directors trying to sell solutions and you can clearly see that the they is trying to grab the most money from the customer and not provide them with something that they would be happy with. When a member of staff points this out to them and comes up with a better more cost-efficient way they are simply ignored. The solution is installed problems start to happen and customers are then ignored. Until they start getting angry nothing will be done and by this time it’s to late and the customer leaves. For the last couple of years staff have been attending something that is called “state of the nation” where the owner of the company talks about the direction the company needs to go in and how he expects 100% from people and one of the bits of information we keep getting from these events is that a big investment is coming and each “state of the nation” meeting we are being told it’s coming just around the corner and we hear how hard he has been working to get this investment. Well after taking on some board members NSUK lost that investment. Well I guess those directors didn’t give 100% I can only guess at the reason why NSUK lost the investment deal. Most probably because they have seen how the company is being run and very wisely didn't invest! Having a quick look at the owner’s history on company’s house shows you all you need to know.
