    Even more opportunity now as a part of the Oracle. Great individual incentives and employee benefits e.g private health, gym, travel o/s. Huge amount of resources to help sell as a team. Amazing people to work alongside. Best of breed technology and selling on value

    Good initial pay but make your best deal then. Promotions are minor unless you are in the club.

    Not much to say as a positive. Depends what area you are in for your experience I guess. Lots of change needs to happen with management

    Cons

    Snr Director targets team and individuals to get results at any cost. Environment is not good or positive. Toxic environment Worst environment I've been in Politics at the top between channel and direct sales.

    Good people, nice new office and the sales team all help out

    Cons

    Senior Management is useless and painful to work for, all the sales talent walked out the door and the sales numbers dropped, very little new logo's being signed and all of the current sales team are looking to leave. Commission structure makes it hard to earn money in year 2+

    Pros

    Very sales focused - lots of mechanisms, infrastructure and resources to assist driving a sales cycle. Fast paced. Overall a very good product with increasing recognition.

    Cons

    Extremely hard nosed sales environment - under the pump - close the deal at any cost or you're gone - you end up selling based on price and not value. High level of churn among sales staff and management. Remuneration well below what similar vendors pay in the sale role. Product lacking functionality and maturity in some verticals. Company tends to push out modules to sell before they are ready, leading to unhappy customers and highly challenging implementations. Mediocre calibre of staff overall - if you are a mid level employee or above there are no mentors for you. Direct sales team versus channel sales team conflict.

    Pockets of smart, hardworking people that know what they are doing Strong financials product for SMB (but that's about it) US culture & opportunity far better than what exists in APAC

    I have been working at NetSuite full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The people and culture aspects of NetSuite are unmatched in terms of commitment and passion. No one ever said ERP sales was easy but with teams focused on getting the deals successfully closed and successfully delivered, you can over achieve and have a lot of fun on the way. There's a great spirit and drive in NetSuite. Promotional opportunities are very apparent if you want to grow in the company and advance your career. The company is highly supportive of internal career support and has defined advancement programs in place.

    Cons

    A lot of change to navigate and deal with as the company rapidly evolves. Can be tough to keep up but definitely worth sticking with it. Can also be difficult to maintain the pace if you're not used to it.

    Pros

    Good bunch of people that work in the company. Intelligent, hard working and genuine.

    Cons

    Too much focus put on the sales teams when they make up less than 10% of the entire staff base. Recognition amongst other teams are low, departments are siloed, communication company wide non-existent and there is a sense of false optimism in the air delivered by management with no figures or facts to back up the messaging. People are leaving like the house is on fire - some by choice and others by performance. Reps that have left have not been replaced to do the ground work and of those managers that have left the business, valuable intel has gone with it based on their tenures. Growth plans have gone out the window, with the focus now to clean up shop.
