Pros

almost nothing would occasionally come in late and no one would say anything

Cons

- CEO has no clue how to treat staff - no personal development plan or care for staff, best you'll get is pizza and half day off for christmas - worked on / managed the desk solo 3 days our of 5, for 2 years straight - overloaded and underpaid, no pay rise offered. - 2 holidays cancelled without warning or discussion, worked whole 2020 with no days off and CEO brushed it off without consideration or pay. - No parking available - thats a complete lie - High expectations for such a company offering no benefits or progression to their staff. Best thing was leaving

Pros

The one and only pro working at Netec is that you will get access to alot of techonologies to play around with. Thats where all the pros end. Its all downhill from here.

Cons

The owner is extremely rude to the point where he does not listen to his employees at all. There would always be back and forth arguments with employees every single day to the point where it just gets annoying. It’s either his was or the highway. There is no onsite parking you will have to move your vehicle every single day at 11 to another location wasting fuel and time. The Pay is awful for the amount of travelling you have to do wasting fuel and time. The Office is cramped constantly hiring people that are leaving weeks later. There is no space for more than 3 engineers. The Office doesn’t have the right equipment and or training requirements for new engineers joining. Sometimes engineers have to wait days and days just to get access to a computer to take notes and learn on. The Office downstairs has single glazed windows meaning it is extremely cold at all times. There is only one air conditioning unit to warm up the entirety of the ground floor. It would take hours and it’s horrible to work in the cold. Rather than helping employees on mistakes they do the owner rather start shouting and questioning why you made the mistake. The job descriptions for jobs available make it sound like it’s an amazing company with great benefits but the only great thing is waiting for 6pm. The owner will not treat you like an employee with respect. He will treat you like some animal you can talk down to. Constantly employees will be joining and leaving because of how this company is run. The owner then blames them for having “mental” problems by talking to other employees about them. The owner will talk behind your back to your other colleagues without a worry constantly. Its ridiculous. The owner doe not know how to run this company and how to talk to people at all.

Pros

Sweet taste of fresh air after they make you feel guilty leaving at 6PM when your shift ended

Cons

Never in my life have i worked at a company who offered no training but expected you to know everything. If you expect to have someone who knows everything, don't hire someone who's starting out then offering them peanut money to do everything. The sheer boredom everyday while working due to the lack of training received and not knowing how to do anything. Absolute terrible. The office was freezing cold THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE DAY and when it was boiling hot during summer time, the owner would give you a death stare when you put on the heater or AC. Trying to save pennies on electricity i guess. They require for you to drive but move your car everyday before 11AM as there was no parking available but would not even send you out on jobs that require your car. Wasting fuel for no reason. Only benefit to that was to get away from that small, crammy office for 10 minutes to reflect on your life and figure out an exit plan. The toilet was right next to the kitchen and was so small that you would have no space to move around. Its on the ground floor right next to the computers, so trust me even if you let out a fart, they will hear it. Extremely long unnecessary hours, literally used to pick up phone calls just to take messages and wait for other technicians to resolve as they provided no adequate training. No benefits or perks were offered. No food ever offered, not even proper water facilities just a water jug. I have also heard the turnover rate at the company is very high and its no surprise why. Overall, terrible place to work out especially if you are breaking through the IT sector. No training so you wouldn't even learn, the only reason you may take this job is to literally earn a bit of pocket change and apply for other jobs whilst you're there!
