Lack of insight, low salary, terrible management… refer to my full review.

I was hired and spent my first 5 weeks in the company with no senior staff, only 1 other person who had been given very little guidance or training as well. We were two young people who are inexperienced in what goes into running a shop and occupying a sales role. Promised dedicated time for training in the interviews. This never came and I was expected to figure out how to do things myself or to do outside of work hours (no overtime). This lead to undue stress and mistakes that could have been avoided. A pathetic salary for a mid weight designer, getting paid what a graduate designer would start on these days. The lowest in the city. €100 bonus for Christmas and only received €75 of it, which is insulting considering Christmas bonuses in past companies in small towns was at least €500, never mind the capital city. Expected to be in the 5 days a week with little to no hybrid support offered as the office is a sales area, even though I am not a sales person. Had to work from home twice due to illness and because my grandmother had a stroke, felt like an inconvenience and that I was being judged for even asking. Very non empathetic. You are never just a designer, you go between being a account manager, designer, sales person, receptionist and marketing executive, while still being paid for a graduate designer role. Very little help when it comes to difficult clients & expected to deal with them by yourself. High turnover of staff due to lack of senior staff, guidance and overall direction of the business. It's all about how much money you can bring into the company.
