I was hired as a technician at Neuro Wellness Spa’s Manhattan Beach location in Spring 2021. I received generous starting pay and was given flexible hours in order to accommodate the degree program that I was finishing at the time. Upon completion of my degree, I became a full-time employee at NWS. As part of the team, I’ve been given numerous opportunities to grow within the company and take on new roles. Though the company is rapidly growing, it maintains a supportive and flexible work environment. The company is distinctly purpose-driven, with the staff here being bound together by a shared passion for advancing psychiatric/mental health care. I’ve also enjoyed the many benefits that NWS offers its staff, including dental/vision insurance and subsidized gym memberships.
Cons
The environment can be fast-paced, which is to be expected in any robust clinical setting.
